The Federal Reserve [released their Beige Book today [TheStreet.com]](http://www.thestreet.com/_googlen/markets/marketfeatures/10255121.html?cm_ven=GOOGLEN&cm_cat=FREE&cm_ite=NA), an anecdotal description of the US economy broken out by the 12 regions of its member banks and collected before November 21st. The information is based on interviews with businesses and other sources and is not the official view of the economy by the Fed.
