Elliman Report: Fairfield County Sales 2Q 2020

As evidence of outbound migration from New York City and a release of pent-up demand as the housing market began to wake up, the number of sales declined by a substantially lower level than was seen in the city. Countywide, the year over year number of sales was down by 11.6% to 2,738, the first decline in five straight quarters. The sales total was the lowest secondquarter sales total since 2014.
