The Best of Housing Notes – The First 6 Months
As I mentioned last week, we’re in Shanghai (at this very moment) so I thought I’d go easy on you and simply provide a “best of” post.
It’s hard to believe that this weekly endeavor is only 6 months old – beginning on March 6th of this year. It’s been a great way to gel my thoughts after processing a week’s worth of information, some of it shared on social media and some held for late night reading. I have to admit that writing for you – bad grammar and all – has been very satisfying and I appreciate you sticking with me, hopefully because you get something out of it as well.
If you’re new to Housing Notes, here are a few of my favorites. Currently we are only displaying archive links of the past 5 notes (look to your upper right). More on that later.
April 3, 2015: Headless Housing Titles in Topless Market
May 8, 2015: Housing Forecast: The Present is a Lagging Indicator, and Sometimes it Rhymes
July 17, 2015: What Doesn’t Stink? Pluto and Mortgage Rate Hikes
August 14, 2015: Impact of China’s Currency Devaluation on U.S. Real Estate is Second-Hand
While I didn’t take this photo (I wrote this note before we left), this is the one city skyline in the world that seems almost cartoonish yet great.
I’ll be back next week.
