Dropping The Ball On Housing

Wishing all Housing Notes readers a Happy New Year!

I have no New Year’s resolutions to recommend for the housing market in 2016. Not because none are needed, but because I took a break this week (except for guest hosting Bloomberg TV’s Surveillance from 6am to 7am on New Year’s Eve). Get ready for our January gauntlet of housing market research.

One of life’s great mysteries to a New Yorker is: “Why do people stand for 12 hours in Times Square to see the ball drop?” And “why does a ball drop symbolize New Year’s?”

If you need are in need of inspiration for a New Year’s resolution, tell a friend to sign up for my Housing Note. They’ll feel good, you’ll feel better and I’ll be resolute.

See you next week in full force.

Reads I Enjoyed

Being in the holiday spirit I skipped recommending links to read this week. C’mon, even I take time off every once in a while.
