Well, it’s the third Monday in January – [Martin Luther King Day](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Luther_King_Day). Its a day that deserves more attention than it receives.

I lived on the [Mason-Dixon Line](http://geography.about.com/od/politicalgeography/a/masondixon.htm) in the 1960’s and in 1967 attended an elementary school in the first year of integrated busing in the community where I lived.

Needless to say it made an impression.
